Last year's trip to DC was over President's Day weekend when they had the "Snow Storm of the Century." Most transit closed, museums closed, we missed our flights because the airports closed. Wasn't too exciting, but we did get to wander a little bit while we were there.
The Capital
We went down here on Feb 15th so we could take part in the worldwide peace march that was supposed to be happening. Sadly, no one was there and a call to the contact number listed on the website revealed that the DC march was canceled because the organizer slept in "hard core." Lame-o!

Halls of Justice?!?
We stumbled upon The Halls of Justice, which were all fenced off and surrounded with barbed wire. Hmmm... kind of makes you wonder how accessible justice is supposed to be to the common man.
