Crystal Mountain
One thing snow is good for is snow boarding, and Wing, Dieter, and I went out to the mountains to enjoy it for a day.

Dieter
Dieter gets attacked by icicles? Probably just him showing us his club arm. (We covered his cast and hand in a wool sock, covered that in a waterproof fleece sock, then put a huge ski claw on over that). I was kinda scared about him going, but he didn't hurt himself and the cast stayed super dry.

Me and Wing
It was my first time to board (or ski for that matter) and I was quite happy to survive my lesson with no injuries. Fun sport, but definitely tiring.

Satisfied
At the end of the day, we smile proudly with our boards as the snow continues to fall around us. :)

Dieter & Zac
Zac and Dieter were roomies before Zac moved to Boston. After drinks at Mona's, Zac and Dieter came home and played with the bowling ball... making the dreaded popping noise Dena hates. :)

Dinner at Bicks
Thursday night the group had a fabulous meal at Bick's while the snow continued. Here's Chris, Andrew, Max, Zac, Dieter, and Elise.

Snow!
Even though it "never snows in Seattle," I think this was the third light snow of the season. Moses and I were at dinner, we looked out the window, and viola! Tons of snow! Most had melted by morning when I took this photo, but it was still pretty crazy at the time. Cars sliding, snowmen in yards, snowball fights in the streets. Fun stuff.

Sad Dieter
Maybe he's sad because Zac left? Or the trees are cold? Or he can't ride his bike with his arm in a cast? Dunno... but he chose this look for the photo.
