I'd heard rumors...
Upon moving to Seattle I'd heard rumors about houses that literally fell off the cliffs into the bay. Apparently during big storms a few years back the land eroded and the houses slowly slipped into the water. The residents had time to get out, but they didn't get to collect their belongings. In April we set off to find these fabeled homes and find them we did.
In our search for the house that fell off a cliff during a land slide, we first came across this creepy drainage pipe. Ick.
We found a random cement pillar that had collected rain water and, amazingly, four starfish. How bizarre! How'd they climb up and into this pillar? Who knows!
These stairs appear to lead into nothing. They basically deadend at a rock wall. Who knows how they ended up where they are.
Apparently we weren't the only ones searching. Caroline and I were looking to take phots. This gentleman was apparently searching for buried treasure. :) It was a fun journey... can't believe it was over a year ago when we went.
