Over the course of the weekend, I saw many great acts! Some new, some familiar favorites... all fun and exciting to me! Erin joined me one day, and Jake the next. How great to have friends who appreciate music festivals, and have the weather cooperate for a fabulous sunny weekend! Loving life right now! Festival highlights:

Jesse on drums
Jake and I spent all day at the festival, catching various acts in the beautiful first days of summer. However, our favorite, by far, was this guy Jesse. He drummed nonstop and kept huge crowds comming all day! Too impressive!

Jason Webley
One of my favorite Seattle artists is Jason Webley. Happily, we caught multiple shows from Jason, and saw him multiple days of the festival. He even started a special private performance, just for me and Erin. What a swell guy!

The Hula Kind's Return
The "Hula King" (Mr. Crazy Hips himself) was there again this year... and with followers who wear short shorts. Eww! The King was up to his same old sleazy flirting with innocent young girls... between that and the guy in this photo, makes you want to put down the hula hoop and walk away.

Young Mullet
Why parents let this happen, I don't know...

By the Stoner's Tree...
...you can find all kinds of people, in similar states to this passed out gentleman.

Dancing to Samba
Samba Olywa's Carnival Parade Brazil Style was fabuloys! They led the crowd in a a great set in the Samba Showcase at the Mural Stage! I got to dance for a long time, while Jake (seemingly less impressed) took more pictures on his camera.
