The Space Needle
Every Memorial Day weekend, the NW Folklife Festival happens at the Seattle Center. This year I was in the middle of moving, and only got to go for one day. However, I did get to meet back up with Adam, the nice guy I met at the U-District Street Fair just a week earlier. :)

I got to the festival in time to see the Clumsy Lovers play a fun set, but it was packed so Adam and I watched from the back of the crowd

The Fraggle Rock break dancing crew was out in full force, performing to huge crowds on the steps of the Key Arena

Old Movies
This stage showed tons of rare, old music videos from the 30s, 20s, and beyond. Quite bizarre and very captivating!

It's a great venue for live music... or for just staring at the colorful walls

My friend Elisa sings in this band with her dad, and we got to see them perform at the EMP Liquid Lounge. Sadly, I didn't have time to stick around afterwards and chat... it was late and I was about to miss my bus home. :(
As usual, many thanks go out to the organizers of this fantastic event! It's a huge, FREE, 4-day music festival with great talent that truly does bring the community together. I love Seattle! :)
