Alyssa and Chris were going to a wedding in Vancouver and decided to make a vacation out of the trip. They invited me to spend a few days in Whistler with them and I was quite honored and happy to accept! It was great to see them, and great to explore some of the rafting and hiking around the area! Too beautiful!
Narin Falls was an easy 3km trail, with lots of nice river and mountain views.
We took a rafting trip on the Green River, pictured behind us. The rapids were only level 2 & 3, but it was still a nice trip.

Woohoo! This photo doesn't really capture how cute and nice Whistler is as a touristy ski village, but if you doubt me, go check it out yourself! Quite a fancy place!
I just got back from a great trip to Whistler, BC to spend time with Chris and Alyssa! We went white water rafting on the Green River, we saw beautiful waterfalls at Narin and Brandywine, we ate good food, stayed at the great Cedar Springs B&B, watched many bikers on the jumps and trails, spent quality time in the hot tub, and did the most spectacular hike I can imagine... Joffre Lakes... where we saw magnificent lakes, cliffs, waterfalls, mountains, and even got to climb right up onto the snout of the glacier! What a fabulous weekend, and what fabulous friends who made it all possible! Look for more pictures to come... for now, a self portrait from us at Narin Falls! Enjoy!
