So Dieter calls one Saturday morning, says he has a car for the weekend, and asks if I want to join him on a hike. He says the hike will be a mile or two, I'm down with that, so I pack a bagel, a bottle of water, and off we go...

After an additional 2 miles up the mountain, my blood suger was super low and I was quite cold. However, we were finally at our destination, Lake Serene. (Hadn't quite prepared for a 9 mile hike, but while I was really tired, I did survive).

Glutton for Pain
Dieter came to the lake to jump off the cliff, and the snowfall on the ground wasn't going to stop him from jumping into the lake's icy waters. Crazy boy...

Nerds
Nothing says healthy like doing a 5 mile hike and stopping to eat some Nerds on a Rope. :) Good stuff, though I'm still a fan of the original 2-in-1 Nerds in a box.
