Guess I’m really feeling the need to journal today… so I’m finally back on Blogger!! I admit I’ve been really lazy about updating my page since this spring, but I’m hoping to get back in the loop. This week I finally added Vancouver pics and drag king pics, and more should be coming soon!

Moses will be glad to know I had another dream last night. I know, I know… we all supposedly have dreams every night. I, however, only remember having one or two dreams per year… I can recount five that I know I’ve had. Anyway, last night was pretty restless sleep, and maybe the constant waking up made me remember. Here’s the dream: {I was trying to be extra nice to this boy I really like, so I decided to surprise him with food and ordered a pizza. However, after I ordered, I realized I ordered him a pizza with meat on it, even though he and I are both vegetarians and have the same favorite pizza in common.} Anyway, I felt really bad when I woke up. Analyze as you wish and send me your thoughts.

Hmmm…. so today I met a man who moved here a year ago looking for work. He still hasn’t found a tech job, and so he’s been hitting the nonprofit field and temp agencies for interviews for the past few months. However, both the nonprofit world and the temp world is now flooded with techies since they’re all out of work, so even they’re not hiring. It’s made this crazy market even crazier. I think I’ll stay late at work tonight and start attempting the job search. Could take a while…

I’m a ROCK STAR!!! Well, not really, but I did finally add more photos to the site!! :) There are now pics of camping, hiking, and Beal’s goodbye. Enjoy!

Went to Rod’s birthday party last night and had a really good time. Hadn’t seen Rod in a while, and got to introduce him to my friends Moses and Dave. Also got to mingle with some of his other friends from work and school so that was pretty cool. Got home, chatted some with Dieter, and went to sleep content. :) Oh!! And I had another dream. Don’t know what it was, but I remember this image of a drag king with hairy legs walking around in a pair of my high-heeled sandals. Weird. Anyway, tonight I’m going to stay home, cook, clean and maybe watch a movie. No more going out so much… I’ve got to stop! Adios!

So today I’m supposed to head down to FCI to meet Moses so we can go to the Mariners’ playoff game against the Yankees. So last night, I had yet another dream! Craziness… In the dream I was heading down to FCI to meet Moses, and I ran into Brett and some of his buddies down on the first floor (even though FCI doesn’t have a first floor). That was pretty cool, so we chatted for a little while then headed upstairs. I was going to see Moses, so I passed the main floor and went up the back stairs to the third floor. Apparently I was expected, and when I knocked, none other than lovely Ross opened the door for me. He was all smiley, dressed up in charcoal wool pants and a white button up, and he looked fabulous. He showed me inside, and chatted with me as he did so. And that’s all of the memory. Weird, weird, weird…

I love days, and recently months, where I can sit back and say “ya know, I’m pretty content with what I’ve got going on.” :) I don’t remember always feeling this way, and even on the wake of unemployment, I’m pretty content with life. Everyday someone emails or asks how I’m doing, and the truthful answer is always “pretty good, actually.” And like usual, yesterday was another good day. Moses worked his rock star powers and got us tickets to game one of the American League playoffs between the Mariners and the Yankees. It was a gorgeous Seattle day – cool with blue skies and warm sunshine – and it was perfect weather to join a friend for a baseball game. The Mariners didn’t win, but it was still lots of fun to check out the beautiful ballpark, eat peanuts and pretzels, watch the crazy fans do their thing, and enjoy the folks selling the “Yankees Suck” t-shirts. Last night after getting home from the game, Andrew came over and we watched the Muppet Movie and ate some ice cream. Beautiful! What more could a girl want out of life? For now though, I’ve gotta run. I’m starved and waiting for Moses, Dave, and Andrew to head over so we can get food! Take care!

I just got my haircut. As usual, I’m pretty upset about it. Damn!! After the last hair cut, I was both cute and content – so rare when it comes to my haircuts!! Now it seems I’m back to the usual disturbed and upset phase. It’s so short he actually used a razor on my neck!! I repeat, I’m not content. :(

Okay… so I mellowed out some about the hair, and forgot about it completely after Dieter came over last night. :) All is well. Had a very relaxing Friday night… hanging out and eating brownies. Today was all Halloween prep… yeah! It’s my favorite holiday of the year and our day was spent costume shopping and pumpkin carving. Fun!! Off now to eat dinner and dress goth… tonight we’re hitting the Catwalk club! Yeow!

Good night last night… meant to sew something, but never got around to it. :) Today I’m sick though… think this nasty weather is bringing me down. While I was home sick, I was able to work on the job search some. Happily, with Dieter’s help, I was able to write up a few letters and fax off some resumes today for job openings. Yeah!
