Busy day today… too much to do getting back to work! But, wanted to share the news!! During the Easter Egg hunt yesterday, most of the eggs contained chocolates… yum! However, one egg I found had a ring in it!!!! It’s not an engagement ring (Dieter’s not really a marriage kind of guy), he called it more of a commitment ring. Pretty silver, very simple. He’s so awesome! I’m so in love! His parents will be floored… I’m told his mom has mentioned marriage to him at least a few times!

Did I mention I finally found a new place to live? It’s north by Greenlake, and is in the upstairs of a house. The view of the lake is nice, but the best part is the huge garden tub! Yeah! I’m starting to move stuff in this week… should be a challenge since I don’t own a car, but life wouldn’t be fun without challenges!

In other news today, I got really sweet fan mail from Sean, aka FatSeanny.com. Always nice to see people actually check out the site. :) Take care, y’all!

I think I’ve seen too many of these quizzes. Somehow, I’m never quite content with the answer. Does this have deep meaning, somehow a statement of my inner discontent with life? I doubt it. This week, however, I guess I would rather be back on vacation instead of working and moving. Ah well. I’ll vacation eventually!

Am back from a quick trip to Texas. Was a good few days. Friday and Saturday I got to see friends in Austin. Giant thanks to Charles for making the trip possible… in honor of Cap’n Mike’s return with the lovely Elizabeth in tow. I was also excited to see Kat and Steve, Betsy, Chris, Alyssa, Andy, Charles, and Bill. Sunday was spent clearing my storage unit out, and Monday was sorting through my life’s belongings and narrowing down the “keep” stuff to 7 boxes. Crazy. Happily, the moving time was broken up by lunch with Houston folks… Scott, Suzan (happy birthday!), Isabel (honary), John, Crow, Ajit, and Anita. Monday night I got to see Beal, for a tired late night chat session. Yeah! Long, tiring weekend… but I got to see folks and don’t have to pay storage unit costs anymore. So, if you’re living in the AUSTIN area, feel free to check out some stuff for sale. I’m getting rid of tons! I’m also now back in Seattle, and giant thanks go to Moses for helping me (and my boxes) get home safely from the airport. :)

This weekend back in Seattle has been quiet. Hung with Dieter last night. Walked Greenlake and did dinner with Cheyenne tonight. Tomorrow hope to hit the Cherry Blossom Festival at Seattle Center with Erin and Tawni. That’s about all for me. G’night…

I’m tired.

Very tired.

Been tired all week. Watched David Lynch’s Mulholland Dr. last night since we were feeling lazy. Was pretty good. Still piecing together my version of the movie. :) This weekend we some have exciting plans, so hopefully my energy will pick up some. Going to the Evergreen Speedway this Saturday for the Demolition Derby School Bus Figure 8 Crash Em Up Derby. Am also going to try to make it to a few parties, including one at the EMP. Should be fun…. they have a new exhibit out. :) I’m off to work now… ah, how nice to sleep in, shower late, and actually eat before hitting the office. :)

Oh!! In the most exciting news of the day, we volunteered today at the Center for Urban Horiculture with Seattle Youth Garden Works and I got to take home a tomato plant for my very own!! Yeah! I’ve been wanting to garden since I moved to Seattle, and I finally now have both a balcony and a plant to grow out there! Ah, if only I had a webcam… everyone could be deeply entertained at all times by my growing plant! Yeah!!

In other exciting news, my two missing Fed Ex packages arrived today! Yeah clothes and a sewing machine! Oh, and upon further review, the members only party is next weekend at the EMP, not this weekend. :) I guess I’m a bit off on the calendar.

Last night was the smash ‘em up derby, school bus figure 8 death match thingy at the race track. All I’ve gotta say: it rocked!!! I can’t believe I forgot my camera, but if the dude in front of me sends pics like he promised, there will be photos up in no time! :)

Today is a beautiful day in Seattle. It’s 67 degrees, blue skies, and gorgeous! I’m going for a walk around the lake!
