Andy, Dan and I did a classic road trip and drove from Austin, TX to Montery, CA to Las Vegas, NV to the Grand Canyon, AZ then back home... all within one week's time. Was quite fun... enjoy the photos!
San Francisco... what an amazing city... the Golden Gate Bridge
is
a marvel, China Town always bustles, and the drag queens
wandering in gorgeous wedding
dresses, cigars, and combat boots made my day! I also especially liked
the
building with furniture attached to the outside, quite neat-o. :)
Montery is a gorgeous,
peaceful seaside city... Dan and I climbed
rocks on Lovers' Point and even stopped for the photo opp. :)

We could be on our own post card. :) After we hit Vegas and the
Hoover Dam, we spent a while at the Grand
Canyon seeing the sites. It was wierd... even though it was warm
outside, there was still snow on the ground. Had to include a pcture of
that... (last time I was there it was in the 100s... quite different!)
Arizona's desert heat on the way to California VS Arizona's
mountains and snow on the way back from
California... quite a diverse state. We thought only the folks going
skiing were going to see snow... boy were we wrong. We even had a
snowball fight (yes, in Arizona in the spring). Yeah!
