Halloween '98

Halloween 1998... what a weekend, what a night! Friday night went to
the MISA party and then to Rocky Horror. Then Saturday, on Halloween
itself, I went to parties at Kat's, Dave, Dave, and Scott's,
6th St, Rocky Horror, and even fit in Pat and Anna's wedding. :)

Katherine's Party: The dread pirate Mike, Kat the fairy, me and
Suzan (in my leather). :)

Me and Kary... no costume, just a beret. :)

Dave, Dave, and Scott's Party

Dave was doing quite well and having
lots of fun on Halloween. I think
he was wearing entirely too many layers under his nightgown, but that's
okay. Wanted to put this pic up to prove I was at the party... at one
point I don't think he remembered I was there. (yeah alcohol!)

6th Street

6th Street this year supposedly had 140,000 people out in the street
partying. I was there as usual, and it was great fun! (I love meeting
all of the freaks! Janette, Suzan, Santa and me... this jolly old
man seemed confused about who was naughty and nice!

Me, Captain Wine, and
Suzan.
Captain Wine had one of the
most amusing and most functional costumes all evening. That spout
sticking out of his groin did indeed actually pour wine!

Me and Janette with a happy dragon. :)

I met lots of folks that night, but this man was definitely one of
my favorites. It's not everyday you see a really huge, giant smiling
and joking black man in a KKK robe with a South Will Rise Again
confederate flag around his neck. If he were anyone else, he probably
would have been beaten. As it was, I think he was perhaps the funnest
man I met all night!

Back at the party scene later in the evening, Jen and Kat pose in
their new fairy costumes.

This is me and Joe on Halloween night. The photo is kinda dark, but
you can kinda see my costume... leopard print body suit with cat
ears and tail. It was cute. Of course, Joe went for simplicity in a
rope and fabric flap - just as impressive.
