March '95 at SXSW KNACK House Party BBQ.
For those that know the story, or want to know the story, Ricky, the
guy in the red and black, was the one that hit on me for two hours at the
party. ;) Claim to fame, eh? It was pretty funny. At first, he
was all "Hey, I like your hair." (and I was all "okay") Then he's "No
really, I like your hair." (and I was all "Um... I don't really
like it that much, but thanks") And he's all "No, I really like your
hair." We eventually got into a real conversation, which was way cool,
but even in there he once wandered told me "You know, you've got really
nice teeth."
(again, I was all "okay...") He cracked me up, what was I supposed to
say? "Hey thanks, I grew my teeth myself, all on my own..." that or
something equally cheesy, I guess. The next time I talked to Zac, lead
singer, (wearing the white tshirt) it was May 95 and he said that Ricky
always gets teased by band members for hitting on girls. But that's
okay, when they came back yet again in 95, this time in September, Ricky
and Zac both hung with me before the show, so that was cool.
